Core Platforms

Definition

Exosomes are nanoscale extracellular vesicles (30–150 nm in diameter) naturally secreted by cells. They carry various bioactive molecules such as proteins, mRNA, miRNA, and lipids, and play key roles in intercellular communication, immune modulation, and disease progression.

Clinical Value

Due to their natural origin, excellent biocompatibility, low immunogenicity, and ability to cross biological barriers, exosomes are widely studied as novel delivery vehicles, diagnostic biomarkers, and tools for immune regulation. As non-viral carriers, they represent a highly promising alternative to traditional vectors in the CGT field.
